The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has launched a new map to provide comprehensive, real-time information on clinical trials taking place in the EU.
Building on the public information contained in the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS), the map improves the way people use the system and find information about clinical trials. Users can search for ongoing trials by geographical area and condition. The search supports queries in layman’s language and includes an autocorrect system that provides suggestions for misspellings. Search results include investigator contact details, allowing members of the public to enquire directly about potential enrolment in a particular trial.
